Hallo, ben ik weer. Deze week is weer omgevlogen. Als je tot half 6 werkt, dan vliegen de dagen natuurlijk zo om. Ik heb deze week allerlei verschillende dingen gedaan op het werk. Zo ben ik bezig geweest met het regelen van de reisinformatie in orde te maken voor de studenten, heb ik mailtjes gestuurd voor de vluchtinformatie maar ook administratief werk als de facturen verwerken. Je zou bijna vergeten dat ik ook eigenlijk moet vertalen.

Maar dat doe ik natuurlijk ook. Ik ben nog steeds bezig met alle blogs van de site te vertalen, en heb nu ook een aantal nieuwe gekregen van klasgenoten over hun stageplek. Het is heel leuk om te lezen wat zij allemaal doen. Veel zitten in Spanje, en hun stage is natuurlijk heel anders dan die van mij hier. Ook heb ik een aantal telefoontjes moeten plegen, maar gelukkig is niemand boos geworden deze week. Jeej. Om al het harde werk te compenseren, eten we veel koekjes en snoep op het werk… Mijn manager was naar Barcelona geweest, en hij had Turrón meegenomen. Erg lekker!

Ik heb het ook heel gezellig met mijn huisgenoten. Ze zijn allemaal heel aardig en we vinden het leuk om dingen samen te doen. Onze grootste hobby om samen te doen is ‘The Bake Off’ te kijken, echt gezellig. Vanavond gaan naar de bioscoop. We gaan naar de film: “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children”. Een film van Tim Burton in de stijl van Alice in Wonderland en Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. En morgen gaan we koekjes maken. Ik ben benieuwd hoe dat gaat! Gister was er kennismakingsfeestje in het studentencomplex, het was wel ok maar niet het beste feestje ever. Ik kom net terug van een tripje naar de stad met m’n roomies. En ik zag iemand friet met witte bonen in tomatensaus eten. ’s Middags. Frieten met witte bonen in tomatensaus??? Ik kan er maar niet aanwennen.

Dit was het wel weer zo’n beetje voor deze week. Tot volgende week. Cheers!

Hi! Here i am again. This week has flown by. When you’re working till half 5, the days fly by. I’ve done all kinds of things at work. I’ve been busy with taking care of the travel information for students, send some emails to receive flight information, but I also did some administrative work like processing the invoices. You would almost forget that I also need to translate.

But obviously I’m doing that too. I’m still working on translating the blogs on the site, and I have received some new ones made by my classmates about their internships. I really like to read about what things they do. A lot of them are in Spain, and obviously their internship is way different than where I am. I also had to make a few phone calls, but luckily nobody got mad at me this time. Yay! To compensate all the hard work, we eat a lot of cookies at work… my manager went to Barcelona and he brought some Turrón. I really like it!

I’m also having a great time with my roomies. They all are really nice and we like to do things together. Our biggest hobby is watching The Bake Off together, I really like that. Tonight we’re going to the cinema to see the film: “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children”. It’s a film by Tim Burton, and it has the same style as Alice in Wonderland and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. Plans for tomorrow is making cookies. Let’s see how that is going! Yesterday we had like a party of the student residence to get to know each other. It was ok, but definitely not the best party ever. I just came back from a trip to town with my roomies. I saw someone eating chips with beans? For me, as a dutchie, that’s really weird haha!
